Flagstaff Bone and Joint Is Coming to Woodland Wellness

I have been waiting to say this one out loud.

Flagstaff Bone & Joint is officially coming to Woodland Wellness in Show Low.

Their first clinic day will be Thursday, October 29, with Devin G. Olsen, D.O., a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction, including replacement and revision care.

For anyone who has ever had to turn one specialist appointment into an entire travel day, this is very good news.

Why this partnership matters

When I began planning the larger Woodland Wellness space, the goal was never simply to have more rooms. I wanted to create a professional home for excellent independent providers and make it easier for people in the White Mountains to find more of the care they need closer to home.

Orthopedic care fits naturally into that vision.

Many massage clients come to us while managing joint pain, old injuries, surgery recovery, or questions that are beyond the scope of massage therapy. Massage has an important place, but it does not replace a medical evaluation when one is needed. Clear referral relationships and local specialty clinic days help each provider stay within their role while making care easier for the patient.

Flagstaff Bone & Joint will remain its own independent medical practice. Woodland Wellness will provide a professional, private Show Low location for scheduled clinic days. Their medical care, records, billing, and treatment decisions remain completely separate from our massage and wellness services.

That clarity matters to me.

Meet Dr Devin Olsen

Dr. Olsen specializes in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery, including complex joint replacement care. His approach centers on shared decision-making, which means patients are included in the conversation and treatment plans are built around their needs and goals.

He also values coordination with local primary care providers and physical therapists. That kind of communication is especially important in a rural community, where care can easily become scattered between several towns and offices.

His October 29 clinic will give White Mountains patients access to specialized hip and knee expertise without automatically making the drive to Flagstaff.

A space designed for medical privacy

The Flagstaff Bone & Joint team will have two dedicated exam rooms and a private dictation room inside Woodland Wellness.

That private space was an important part of the agreement. Medical conversations, documentation, and communication with patients and staff need to stay confidential. Their clinic was planned around that need from the beginning rather than being squeezed into an open flex room.

The Woodland Studio will remain available separately if the clinic needs additional space as it grows.

What patients should know

The first scheduled clinic day is Thursday, October 29, at our new Show Low location:

1500 S White Mountain Road, Suite 401A, Show Low, Arizona 85901

Appointments, medical questions, records, and billing will be handled through Flagstaff Bone & Joint. We will share the official Show Low scheduling instructions as soon as their local calendar is ready.

Additional clinic dates and providers will be announced as they are confirmed.

More care closer to home

Living in the White Mountains should not mean leaving the mountain every time you need specialized care.

We cannot bring every service to Show Low at once, but this is a meaningful start. It is exactly the kind of partnership I hoped the new Woodland Wellness could support: an established independent practice, experienced medical providers, and a local space built around privacy and respect.

I am proud to welcome Flagstaff Bone & Joint to Woodland Wellness, and I am very happy to finally share the news with you.
